2.Guided tour to Hardangerfjord with Waterfalls and Ferry Crossing

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 49 reviews · 8 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $236

Travel from Bergen into Hardangerfjord country by minibus, stopping at waterfalls, orchards, villages, and viewpoints. Guides such as Thomas and Geir provide local stories while ferry crossings connect the scenic roads. This is an 8.5-hour day with a maximum of 18 people.

“Despite some rainy weather, this mini-bus tour was very good. Thomas, our driver and guide, was excellent providing excessive commentary not only about the sights but also many interesting stories about life in Norway. As you would expect, the scenery was spectacular both the visited waterfalls and the fjord. Only slight criticism is that we perhaps made 2 stops more than required (in our personal opinion), or there seemed like some better alternative stops. But overall, we enjoyed our bus-based fjord tour which was a good complement to our other ferry-based fjord tour.”

Spend about 4.5 hours tasting Turkish breakfast, market foods, coffee, and sweets while crossing from Eminönü to Kadıköy and back by ferry. Guide Erol Utgun adds useful context, answers sightseeing questions, and keeps the group to eight people.

“Erol Utgun our tour guide took us on an amazing tour that quickly gave us a better understanding of Istanbul by getting us better acquainted with its amazing culinary offerings. The streets of Istanbul are filled with interesting little restaurants, coffee, candy, spice souvenir shops but at first it can all feel a little overwhelming. Our Guide Erol Utgun carefully curated the tour allowing us to experience a wide variety of food and drink and gave us Insite to their origins in Turkish culture and their place in today's food scene. Erol not only gave us a feel for the food he answered all of our touristic questions and was…”

“It is truly a relaxed 10 hour trip as the pickup and drop-off are from the hotel, which in rain-frequent Bergen is quite a boon, and little walking involved. The trip circumnavigates the enchanting Hardanger fjord, taking us through jaw-dropping waterfalls, mesmerising scenRead more”
