Take Trans Côte d’Azur’s round-trip ferry from Nice to Saint-Tropez, with about 2.5 hours at sea each way and possible stops near Cannes or Sainte-Marguerite Island. You explore independently, with no guide, then return to Nice the same day.

Take a round-trip ferry from Quai Lunel in Nice to Monaco in about 45 minutes. Spend the day exploring the Prince’s Palace, Monte Carlo Casino, Oceanographic Museum, or other sights at your own pace. The captain provides commentary, especially on the return trip. Food, drinks, and entry fees cost extra.

Travel independently from Cannes to Sainte-Marguerite Island on a round-trip ferry. All of the signage around the old fort explaining the history was in French only. We bought a sandwich lunch on the island. If you are wanting to snorkel, you will have to bring that stuff with you as there is no where to rent the stuff from the island.”

Take a morning Trans Côte d'Azur ferry from Cannes to Monaco, with no guide and no fixed sightseeing route once you arrive. You get a same-day return ticket, sea views, and several hours to choose between the Prince's Palace, Casino, Oceanographic Museum, lunch, or shopping.
