I recommend this simple day trip if you want freedom rather than a guided tour. You board the Isla de Lobos Ferry in Corralejo, reach Lobos Island in 20 minutes, then choose your own pace for beaches, volcanic scenery, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, and the lighthouse before returning on one of two afternoon ferries.

Take a short helicopter flight above Barcelona’s coast, port, Old Town, Olympic Port, and Gaudí landmarks, then return with a flight video. The optional 15-minute boat transfer from Port Vell gives you a scenic start and avoids a taxi ride to the heliport.

It wasn’t clear for me that they had different tours (one that takes you inside the city and another that is just on the coast), an upgrade on site was unfortunately not possible due to the flight plans. Take a 10:30 AM return ferry from Rossaveel to Inis Mór, then choose your own island day: rent a bike, join a local minibus tour, visit Dún Aonghasa, hear traditional music, and return from Kilronan at 5:00 PM.
“The ferry ride was fantastic. Took a bus trip around the main island and it was fantastic. We enjoyed a nice climb and watched the cliffs and ocean from high above. There was quite a bit of wind and rain, however that only added to the experience. Definitely worth a day trip to see the Aran islands. The people I met there were kind and warm hearted.”
From Sant Antoni’s port, you’ll ride a coastal ferry for about 30 minutes to Cala Salada. Swim, relax, or walk to smaller Cala Saladeta, then return on the 13:00, 16:00, or 17:30 boat. Bring food, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes for the rocky path.
“Great loved the boat and the island there. Not much to do a part from relax by the beach. Definitely do take food with you and some sturdy shoes because it’s rocky. Slippers will make you slip easily. Wish there was any boats past 6 pm. Lovely crew. Good value for money.”
Take Lineas Romero’s 25-minute water bus between Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Calero. Choose a one-way or return ticket, sit outside or under cover, use the onboard bar, and watch for the glass-bottom viewing area on some sailings.

“The small group pick up and tour itself were really good however at the end of the tour we were given tickets to a public bus which took 8 hours to return to Istanbul and stopped everywhere en route. We were not advised of this prior to joining the tour and expected to return in group vehicle. Because of this we did not take passports and so we're challenged at every stop by police as had no ID to cross regions on public transport. Very poor communication. Would not recommend at all.”
Take a 30-minute ferry from Rosslyn Bay to Great Keppel Island, then join a one-hour glass bottom boat trip led by a marine biologist and Master Reef Guide. Afterward, enjoy up to five hours to explore the island’s beaches and walking areas independently. Guides may include Max or Tilly.
