Take a 45-minute ferry from Hillarys Boat Harbour to Rottnest Island, collect your included bike, helmet, and lock, then explore at your own pace. Ride to Wadjemup Lighthouse, West End, quiet bays, and quokka hangouts before returning on the 4:30 pm ferry.

Take the fast Rottnest Express ferry from Fremantle, collect your included bike and helmet on arrival, then explore Rottnest Island at your own pace. Ride to beaches, bays, quokka areas, and snorkeling spots, or keep the day gentle with shorter coastal rides and plenty of stops.
“Ticket collection and the boat ride was simple and fast. We collected the bikes on arrival on the island and they were pretty good, a lot better than expected. I liked that they we were belt-drive. That way the dry and sandy air wouldn't wear the drive down so fast. The island is beatiful and there were Quokkas everywhere, were there were trees next to the cycle-way.”
Ride from Fisherman’s Wharf across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito on a classic or electric bike. Guides such as Ryan, Mia, Adam, and Ginger lead a mostly waterfront route with photo stops, local stories, and free time in Sausalito. Return by bike or ferry.
“Would probably recommend the electric bike just because there is 3 hills that can be slight difficult to go up on, if you do want a challenge then the regular bike will do. Take a same-day SeaLink ferry from Fremantle to Rottnest Island, collect an adult-size bike, helmet, and lock on arrival, then ride at your own pace. You’ll have time for quokkas, beaches, birdlife, and island views before returning to Fremantle at about 4:30pm.

Pick up a Cannondale bike, helmet, lock, and basket near Fisherman’s Wharf, then ride San Francisco’s waterfront, the Golden Gate Bridge, or beyond. Choose a hybrid, e-bike, tandem, children’s bike, trailer, or baby seat. Rentals run from about one hour to 24 hours, with an optional ferry return.

“They were out of bikes at the place we reserved, so after spending $25 on public transportation to get there, I had to spend $20 more to go to their other store. When we got there we found out that they only had 1 e-bike and the other 2 were pedal assist. This is not what we thought we were getting…especially in San Francisco. Not a good experience at all.”
